DROPS Lima is a 4-ply sports yarn and is made of 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca, and the yarn fibers are untreated, meaning the wool has only been washed and not exposed to chemical treatments before dyeing. This way the natural properties of the yarn remain visible and the yarn has a beautiful shape and structure.
Lima is ideal for outdoor clothing such as classic Norwegian sweaters and sporty cardigans that are usually knitted a little tighter for a durable result that retains its shape. This durable and sturdy yarn is like any wool yarn should be. It also has the wonderful properties of alpaca, making it soft and comfortable. A sports yarn with a touch of luxury!
