ChiaoGoo TWIST Lace Interchangeable Tips 8cm

ChiaoGoo's TWIST Lace interchangeable needles are designed with versatility and exclusive quality in mind. These needles come in three different lengths: 8 cm, 10 cm and 13 cm. They can be combined with various TWIST or SPIN cables to create circular needles in any desired size: from thin needles (1.50 mm) to thick needles (10.00 mm) and from short needles (23 cm) to long needles (150 cm). This makes them ideal for various (circular) knitting projects, such as knitting with few stitches or thin yarn (for example socks, mittens, hats or babyclothing), but also for projects with many stitches or thick yarn (such as cardigans, blankets or shawls).

The knitting needles are made of stainless steel and have a beautiful, pointed tip. This makes them very suitable for knitting patterns that require multiple stitches, such as lace, bobbles, tassels or cables. In addition, the knitting needles are very user-friendly; thanks to the mirror-smooth surface, the stitches glide smoothly over and off the needle, while the matte finish prevents light from being reflected annoyingly. The stainless steel is hypoallergenic, making the needles safe for most people with a nickel allergy. In addition, the steel alloy is extremely strong, wear-resistant, lightweight and fully recyclable.

Availability and Specifications

The TWIST Lace stainless steel interchangeable knitting needle tips are available in lengths of 8 cm, 10 cm and 13 cm and in various needle sizes. Specifically for the 8 cm knitting needles, needle sizes from 1.50 mm to 8.00 mm are available. From a needle size of 3.50 mm, the needles are hollow, which ensures that even the thicker sizes remain lightweight.

Please note: the thread sizes differ per needle thickness:

• Needle sizes 1.50-3.25 mm have thread size MINI (M).
• Needle sizes 3.50-5.00 mm have thread size Small (S).

Compatibility and Combination Options

ChiaoGoo's TWIST and SPIN products have the same thread sizes, so they can be combined with each other. The thread size is clearly visible on the knitting needle tips and cables lasered:

• M = MINI for needle sizes 1.50-2.50 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 1.50-3.25 mm (8 cm).
• S=Small for needle sizes 2.75-5.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 3.50-5.00 mm (8 cm).
• L = Large for needle sizes 5.50-10.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 5.50-8.00 mm (8 cm).

Please note: the thread size MINI is not compatible with sizes S and L. All MINI-needle points require a matching MINI-cable. Please note that MINI-10" and 13" needle tips are too long for use with MINI-cables of 5 cm, 13 cm or 15 cm. The cabelleHowever, ngte can easily be extended with a MINI-cable connector. ChiaoGoo also offers adapters to connect products with thread sizes MINI, S and L to connect.

Important Note

The ChiaoGoo MINI Shorties knitting needle points (needle size 1.50-3.25 mm) are an exception. These can only be combined with parts with a corresponding MINI-thread size.
